How long do fancyrats live for?

Pet rats live on average between 2-3 years, this depends obviously on their health and the health of their parents! The oldest rat (according to the ‘Guinness Book of Records’) reached an age of 7years! A ‘Buck’ (male rat) weighs an average 500g and a ‘Doe’ (female rat) 300g.
